Strategy versus Execution.
Which one is more important to a company's success or are they both integral parts? For many small businesses, much attention is often focused on developing just the right strategy to stay ahead of your competitors. Having a good strategy might give you first mover advantage ahead of your top competitor. All very important indeed. Execution however is going to take an extra set of tools; tactical and practical skills to successfully implement your strategy. The best laid business strategy that have corporate buy-in are going to fall flat if the implementation or the execution of that strategy, is faulty. This is especially true for companies making their first significant into overseas markets. There the game takes on an entirely different high-stakes perspective.
